Your baby is only this small for about two weeks. In those first days they still curl into the shape they held inside you and sleep deeply enough to be posed. After three weeks that changes completely.
We hold your date before the baby arrives
Because the window is so narrow, we block a provisional date around your due date and confirm the exact day once your baby is born. Newborn slots are limited each week — book in your second or third trimester.
Safety is trained, not assumed
Every person who handles a newborn on our set is trained in safe posing. The studio is heated, your baby is never left unsupported, and composite images are used for any pose that requires them.
The session runs at your baby's pace
We allow two to four hours because we stop for every feed, every change and every settle. Nothing about a newborn session is rushed. You bring the baby; the wraps, headwear and props are ours.

When should a newborn shoot happen?
Between day 5 and day 15. In that window babies still curl naturally and sleep deeply through the session. After about three weeks they straighten out and stay awake longer.
My baby is already a month old. Is it too late?
Not at all — it becomes a different session. Past three weeks we shoot awake-and-alert portraits, parent-and-baby frames and wrapped setups rather than deep curled poses. Many families prefer these.
Is newborn posing safe?
Yes. Our team is trained in newborn safety posing, the studio is heated, your baby is never left unsupported, and we use composites for any pose that needs them.
