Best between 28 and 34 weeks
A bump photographs best in a window of about six weeks — long enough to be unmistakable, early enough that you are still comfortable standing and moving. We plan the whole session around that window.
Indoor, in our Vesu studio
Sculpted window light, a wardrobe of couture gowns and drapes in a full range of sizes, and unhurried direction. You do not need to buy anything or know how to pose — that is our job.
Outdoor, at golden hour
Open fields, flowing fabric and the last hour of light. We scout the location with you and schedule around the sunset, not the calendar.
Your partner and children belong in these frames
Couple portraits and sibling frames are part of every maternity session. Some of the images families keep longest are the ones with an older child meeting the bump for the first time.

Maternity questions
When is the best time for a maternity photoshoot?
Between the 28th and 34th week. The bump is clearly defined and most mothers are still comfortable for a full session. Carrying twins? Come earlier — around 26 to 30 weeks.
What should I wear?
Most mothers use our studio wardrobe, which covers a full size range. If you want to bring your own, choose fitted fabrics in solid colours — they show the bump far better than loose or printed clothing.
Can my husband and older child join?
Yes, and they should. Couple and sibling frames are included in every maternity session at no extra cost.
